Reveal radical love and humanity within you from the Gospel of Mary Magdalene in this livestream workshop with feminist theologian Meggan Watterson.

Try the Soul-Voice meditation featured in this workshop.

Join feminist theologian Meggan Watterson, yoga instructor and writer Traci S. Jackson, and singer/songwriter Jake Wesley Rogers in an exploration of how the Gospel of Mary Magdalene reveals a radical love that sits at the heart of the Christian story. Mary's gospel says that we are not sinful; we are not to feel ashamed or unworthy for being human. In fact, our purpose is to be fully human, to be a "true human being"—that is, a person who has remembered that we are a messy, limited ego, and also, a limitless soul.

In this workshop streamed live from Omega's campus, all we need to do to realize our full humanity is to turn inward (again and again); to meditate, like Mary Magdalene, in the way her gospel directs us. This allows us to reach a clarity or singularity of heart that lets us see past the ego of our own little lives to what's more real, and lasting, and infinite, and already here, within.

Through lecture, discussion, and practice of the Soul-Voice meditation together, we uncover a more complete understanding about Mary Magdalene as a figure of profound spiritual authority in the earliest form of Christianity. We discover why Mary's gospel was excluded from the current form of the New Testament, and explore the secret teachings Christ gave to her.

We return home with a deeper understanding of why Mary Magdalene's teachings are so relevant at this point in time and with a personal experience of the love Mary's gospel reveals, a love that changes everything.
