Beyond Basketball is for all basketball lovers who want to focus on every aspect of the game, from one-on-one to three-on-three games, coordinated group movement, and methods of bringing principles of structured basketball into street games.

Charley Rosen and Scott Wedman emphasize motion and balance, team concepts, individual skills, and friendly competition without anger and aggression.

Beyond Basketball is for basketball lovers in good physical condition who are ready to learn to play better hoops. With half- and full-court games and lectures, Rosen and Wedman lead a rousing workshop.

The games will take place on a nearby indoor court.

Faculty would like you to know that the games will take place on a nearby indoor court.

 Also, there is a special schedule for this course beyond the standard Omega schedule found in your Omega Welcome Letter; an additional session is scheduled for Saturday evening, 7:30-10:00PM.

Charley Rosen

Charley Rosen is past coach of several Continental Basketball Association teams, a noted sports writer, and author of 15 books, including The First Tip-Off; More Than a Game (coauthored with Phil Jackson); and the novel No Blood, No Foul. He is also an NBA analyst for foxsports.com.

Scott Wedman

Over the course of his outstanding 13-year NBA career with the Kings, Cavaliers, and Celtics, Scott Wedman was selected to play in two All-Star games (1976 and 1980), and was also named to the All-NBA Defensive Team (1979). During his tenure with the Celtics, Wedman was instrumental in winning the championships in 1984 and 1986.
