Continuing Education Credits

IAHB maintains responsibility for the program.
The Institute for the Advancement of Human Behavior (IAHB) and Omega Institute have entered into a cosponsorship agreement to provide quality educational activities that are available for professional continuing education credit. IAHB is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational organization located in Portola Valley, California. Its mission is to provide innovative, top-quality continuing education and continuing medical education activities for professionals. IAHB has been approved as a provider of continuing education by the organizations listed here.
Certified Counselors: IAHB is recognized by the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) to offer continuing education for National Certified Counselors. IAHB adheres to NBCC Continuing Education Guidelines (NBCC Provider #5216).
Social Workers and Counselors State Accreditations: IAHB is approved by the Alabama State Board of Social Work Examiners (Provider #0103). Designated courses meet the qualifications for MFTs and LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (Provider #PCE-36). IAHB is approved by the State of Illinois Department of Professional Regulation for marriage and family therapists (License # 168-000119) and the State of Illinois Department of Professional Regulation for registered social workers (License # 159-000223). IAHB is approved by the State of Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners to sponsor Category I continuing education programs. IAHB is approved by the State of Ohio Social Worker Board (Approved Provider #RSX039403) and the State of Ohio Counselor Board (Approved Provider #RCX029501). IAHB is approved by the State of Texas Board of Social Work Examiners to provide continuing education activities for social workers. Provider No. CS3876. IAHB has been approved by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Marriage and Family Therapists to provide continuing education activities.

Participation. To qualify for CE credit, you must be registered in the workshop, have paid all fees in full, attend all sessions, and fully and actively participate in the program. You must pre-register for CE credit; please be sure to include all related fees when you register.
Fees. There is a $25 fee for CE credit, unless stated otherwise in the course description.
Procedures. To receive CE credit, you must complete and sign a continuing education request form, and submit a workshop evaluation form. These can be dropped off at the conference registration table. Six to eight weeks after receipt of all completed forms and fees, you will receive a wall Certificate of Completion.
Certificate of Attendance. There is a $20 fee for a certificate of attendance for a workshop that you have attended. Requests for Certificates of Attendance are mailed six to eight weeks after the conference. There will be an additional $20 fee for certificates that need to be reissued.
