The Chinese expression for crisis consists of two characters. The first is a symbol for danger; the second is a symbol for opportunity. If we shrink from danger out of fear, we miss the opportunity to wake up and make a difference. In a visually stunning, hopeful, and often funny multimedia presentation, former Vice President Al Gore inspires us to courageously face the truth and work together on the task of our times. Keynote Jane Goodall, Ph.D., D.B.E. Reason for Hope: The Antidote to Fear It is easy to be overwhelmed by feelings of hopelessness as we look around the world.
