The institution of contemporary marriage is under siege, given a 50 percent divorce rate for the past 60 years. But the experience of marriage seems to remain a preference, given the remarriage rate of 90 percent of those who divorce. On the one hand there seems to be a breakdown; on the other, there appears to be a breakthrough. This workshop explores the idea that marriage is alive and well, and evolving into a new form that's replacing a personal, psychological marriage focused on the satisfaction of individual need with a partnership marriage that produces healing and evokes psychological and spiritual growth.
