This intensive is the perfect time for everyone in midlife looking for practical, healthy ways to incorporate the benefits of yoga into their lives. Lilias Folan says, "Yoga gets better with age; age gets better with yoga." Midlife is the ideal time to restore health and vitality, and to soften the impact of the aging process. We greet the day (weather permitting) outdoors, gathering in a sacred circle to sing, dance, and wake up our chakras with meditation and movement to raise the sun and light in our lives. Then we continue our practice indoors, learning painless ways to create and restore flexibility and strength with the three R's of stretching (resist, relax, restretch), key asanas (poses), breathing, and guided relaxations. All sizes and shapes welcome. No yoga experience necessary. CE credit available.
