Through the practice of kirtan—chanting the ecstatic songs of ancient India—we embark on a journey into the multicolored, many-roomed mansions of the heart. Using call-and-response singing and storytelling, recording artist Jai Uttal and tabla maestro and vocalist Daniel Paul invoke a space of prayer and heartfelt expression.
