Linda Lalita Winnick, MA
Linda Lalita Winnick is owner of Shakti Yoga of Woodstock, New York. She has been practicing yoga for more than 17 years and incorporates her background in Ayurveda (Indian medicine), holding a master's degree in Ayurveda and yogic philosophy and science. Linda's teachings are enhanced by her martial arts and dance background. She synthesizes vinyasa (flow), the alignment principles of Iyengar and Anusara, Ashtanga, Sivananda, and Jivamukti styles of yoga, and draws from these various traditions to teach all levels of students, including those with special needs and physical limitations. Linda emphasizes the philosophical and the devotional aspects of yoga. |
