Leslie Bruder, CMT, IBT, MA
Leslie Bruder, CMT, IBT, MA, has been practicing her unique massage style for more than 20 years and is the founder of the Institute for Phenomenal Touch Massage in Boulder, Colorado. She is a graduate of the Boulder School of Massage Therapy and the School for Integrative Body Psychotherapy of Boulder. She is also a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado where she received her masters' degree in psychology.
Bruder continues to enrich and broaden her eclectic approach to massage with various healing modalities, including hot stone massage, breathwork, Traeger, trigger point, neuromuscular therapy, and Esalen®-type massage. And yet, training aside, even as a child, she already intuitively knew ways of touching that later enticed her teachers to want to learn from her. She has taught workshops at The Colorado Massage Center, Cottonwood Clinic, Big Sky Somatic Institute, Kiva Retreat House, Metamorphosis Massage Center, and the spas at Gold Lake Resort, Wildflower, Qualton Hotel, and Antoine Du Chey, to name a few. She has designed numerous classes for both experienced practitioners as well as the novice.
Bruder teaches her work with the same passion that she performs it, enrapturing clients such as Donna Karan, Lou Reed, and Gabrielle Roth. She has published many articles in Massage magazine and is currently writing a book about her techniques. |
