She is columnist for O, The Oprah Magazine and has been a contributing editor to Mademoiselle, Redbook, and Real Simple. She hosts a weekly TV spot, "Ask Martha," on Good Day Arizona.
Having earned a B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. in sociology from Harvard, Beck was a business consultant for six years, a researcher at the Harvard Business School, and a professor at the International School of Business before becoming a life coach.
