Robert Moss, MA
Robert Moss works with individuals and groups throughout the world, teaching innovative techniques to open personal paths to creativity and healing. He is a best-selling novelist and a former journalist and editor, BBC commentator, risk consultant for Fortune 500 companies, life coach, and history professor.
As a foreign correspondent and best-selling thriller writer, Moss developed extraordinary sources to understand the secret springs of world events, including the emerging phenomenon of international terrorism, which, in his first book published in 1972 when he was 25, he was one of the first to identify as a major challenge to democratic nations.
Throughout his life, Moss has drawn on extraordinary sources in a deeper sense. He has recorded his dreams since his teens, and has kept a journal, mostly devoted to dreams and coincidence, for more than 30 years. His fascination with dreams dates from his childhood in Australia, when he survived three near-death experiences and first learned about the practices of a traditional dreaming people through his friendship with Aborigines.
Moss decided to leave the commercial fast track and reinvent himself as a teacher of what he calls the “Three Only Things”—for which there is no career track in our culture—after he purchased a farm in upstate New York in the mid-1980s. He then developed Active Dreaming, an original approach to tapping the power of dreams, coincidence, and imagination.
He explains this approach, and how it can help us in making better decisions, igniting innovation, facilitating healing, and manifesting life goals, in six books, including Conscious Dreaming and The Three “ONLY” Things, a DVD series, and a Sounds True audio course. He has worked with groups ranging from nurses to top corporate communications officers and at-risk inner-city youth to adventurers in consciousness. |
