Sylvia Boorstein, LCSW, PhD
Sylvia Boorstein, LCSW, PhD, is a cofounding teacher of Spirit Rock Meditation Center in Woodacre, California, and a senior teacher at Insight Meditation Society, Barre, Massachusetts. She has led retreats in the United States, Canada, Israel, is the author of four books on Buddhism and meditation practice, most recently, Pay Attention, For Goodness’ Sake, and is a regular columnist for the Shambhala Sun. She has been a psychotherapist since 1967, a panelist and workshop leader at conferences of the American Psychiatric Association, and has published articles in the Journal of Transpersonal Psychology. |
