Bill Vanaver and Livia Drapkin Vanaver,artistic directors of The Vanaver Caravan Dance & Music Company, have traveled the world for the past 37 years collecting, performing, and teaching traditional dance and music, and creating their own work based on traditional forms. Bill is a professor of American and World Dance and Music at Bard College and Livia teaches dance at Columbia University.
