Thelma Jean Goodrich, Ph.D.
Thelma Jean Goodrich, Ph.D., is the Director of Faculty Health at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. She heads a program designed to support the 1200 faculty through stress management techniques, private consultations, and programs tailored to meet the specific challenges of each of the 50 departments. Before going to MD Anderson, Dr. Goodrich served as Director of Behavioral Science in the Family Medicine Residency Training Program at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, at the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University in New York, and most recently at the University of Texas-Houston Medical School.
Dr. Goodrich has been an invited presenter at numerous national and international conferences and has published widely in both family therapy and family medicine. She has authored three books in family therapy recognized with awards. |
