Titanya Dahlin

faculty member Titanya Monique Dahlin is an award-winning Middle Eastern dancer. Titanya is called "the storydancer" and is known for her one-woman shows. She is also a dramatic stage actress and storyteller, an accomplished artist and playwright, a Waldorf teacher, and an energy medicine assistant to holistic healer, Donna Eden. Titanya has come out with her own dance video this year called Energy Dance. She can also be seen as the character of "The Lady of the Woods" in the computer adventure, The Journey to the Wild Divine. Titanya has a unique style of dance that combines the traditional with the modern, and a special flair that is all hers. With a background in jazz, ballet, African, Flamenco, ballroom, and Indian dance, she gives a well-rounded class that is infused with history, symbolism, and fun. She is generous and present with her time and challenging for the beginning and intermediate student. Whether she is teaching choreography or an intuitive dance, Titanya likes to empower women, emphasizing improvisation with emotion to find a unique connection to their own authentic movement that is all their own. You will be filled with enthusiasm after a class with Titanya!
