Tom Brown, Jr.
Tom Brown, Jr., is America's most acclaimed wilderness survival expert. The founder of Tracker Inc., a tracking, nature, and wilderness survival school based in New Jersey, Brown learned the ancient skills of survival from an Apache elder and a secret society of the Lipan Apache called "scouts." Highly attuned to nature, the scouts were the eyes and ears of the tribe and their special wisdom was a path to enlightenment. Awareness was a key ingredient to their success in being one with nature. With these skills came enhanced perception and true enlightenment.
Brown has written 16 books on the outdoors, including The Tracker, The Vision, The Quest, Awakening Spirits, and Tom Brown's Field Guide to City and Suburban Survival. He is a frequent guest on television shows. His school offers an array of wilderness survival and philosophy courses and attracts thousands of students each year from around the world. |
