Otto Scharmer, Ph.D.
Otto Scharmer, Ph.D., is a senior lecturer at MIT and a founding codirector of ELIAS, a joint leadership development initiative of the UN Global Compact, and the Society for Organizational Learning (SoL), along with leading global companies, international institutions, and NGOs like Oxfam. ELIAS uses the U process of presencing to help young executives cocreate profound systems innovations for a more sustainable world. An international action researcher, he is the author of the forthcoming book Theory U: Leading from the Emerging Future, and coauthor, with Peter Senge, Joseph Jaworski, and Betty Sue Flowers, of the book Presence: Human Purpose and the Field of the Future. |
