Jivamukti Yoga® Teacher Training

A 300-Hour Residential Program
Omega Institute
Rhinebeck, New York
April 22–May 18, 2012

Join yoga masters Sharon Gannon, David Life, and Jules Febre for a monthlong teacher training in Jivamukti Yoga, one of the most popular forms of yoga in the world. Acquire the skills and confidence necessary to become a Jivamukti Yoga teacher and lead classes that incorporate asanas, music, chanting, scriptural study, and meditation in a challenging vinyasa practice.

This rigorous, one-month residential program at Omega Institute, located in Rhinebeck, New York, covers yogic philosophy, history, and sacred texts; introduction to Sanskrit; anatomy studies; mentor guidance; practice teaching sessions; and all aspects of Jivamukti Yoga. Also included in this four-week program is a special Spring Ecstatic Chant immersion weekend with some of the greatest devotional singers in the world in a participatory exploration of transcendent musical prayer (kirtan).

Open to intermediate and advanced students, this 300-hour certification program is considered by many to be the most comprehensive yoga teacher training available, attracting students from around the world. This teacher training is an intensive immersion course, designed to prepare you to teach the Jivamukti Yoga style. It is not a yoga “retreat” and is not suited for those new to yoga. Experience with teaching yoga and/or experience with Jivamukti Yoga is preferred.

Become a certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher and transform your life—and help transform the lives of others.
