What to Pack for Summer Camp

You are no doubt excited about attending Omega Teen Camp and we are excited to welcome you! To ease any anxious anticipation you may have about what and how much to bring with you to summer camp, please use the packing list provided below.

Keep in mind that you will need to be able to carry all that you bring with you. Remember to pack light and bring no more than you can tote in duffle bags or backpacks. It will also be a big help to label all of your clothing and equipment.

What to Pack for Summer Camp

Essential Items*

  • T-shirts - 12
  • Shorts - 5
  • Socks - 12
  • Underwear - 14
  • Jeans/long pants - 2
  • Bathing suits - 2
  • Bath towels - 3
  • Sneakers - 1-2
  • Flip flops
  • Laundry bag
  • Sheets and pillowcase for twin bed
  • Sleeping bag
  • Pillow
  • Blanket
  • Toiletry kit
  • Day backpack
  • Flashlight
  • Sunblock
* Four-week campers will be able to do laundry after the first two weeks

DO NOT BRING:

  • Blow dryers
  • Any electrical items
  • iPods
  • Cell phones
  • Expensive jewelry
  • Designer/expensive clothing
  • Articles that are of value to you, sentimental or otherwise
  • Fireworks
  • Weapons of any kind, including knives
  • Alcohol, tobacco, or illegal drugs
  • Skateboards
  • Inline skates
