Women's Institute
We are creating a dynamic new component of Omega, the Women's Institute, dedicated to cultivating women's wisdom and developing a new power paradigm that honors the regenerative, cooperative, and healing qualities of the feminine. The Women's Institute is being founded upon the following premises:
- Feminine wisdom has been devalued in the dominant culture to the detriment of all people. Supporting a balanced power paradigm that is neither feminine nor masculine, but a healthy blend of both, will help create a more peaceful and just world that honors our interdependence with each other and the Earth itself.
- The strengthening of women to manifest their authentic wisdom can help transform the current power paradigm that no longer serves the vast majority of human beings or the planet itself.
- Power is an infinite and neutral energy that can grow through positive, synergistic interaction, interdependence, and the sharing of resources; it has unlimited potential for serving the greater good.
- Women who are grounded in their authentic wisdom and
who have the awareness, knowledge, and skills to responsibly
acquire, manage, and promote power, can transform the
world for the better.
- Rigid roles and behavioral expectations for women and men can damage both genders. By healing and promoting feminine wisdom in women and girls as well as in men and boys, all of society benefits.
Join an ever-expanding community of people who inspire and support each other to new heights of creativity and leadership, and new depths of feeling and understanding.
