In this inspiring photography camp, we explore our inner creativity while learning to see ordinary life in new ways. We incorporate feelings, fun, and beauty into our work as we play with light and shadow, perspective, and composition. Along the way, using Omega’s campus as our canvas, we learn to become photojournalists, documenting the diverse activities and special energy of Family Week. We project our work in our studio, and invite group critiques as we develop language and confidence to discuss visual art. Our camp culminates in a slide show featuring the group’s work, presented to all Family Week participants in the Main Hall. Bring your point-and-shoot digital camera, at least 4 GB of memory cards, a 4 GB thumb drive, and backup batteries. $20 materials fee for underwater camera, film developing, and special souvenir; include when you register.
