Teaching yoga in corporate environments is a great way to reach new populations, build a following, and positively impact the world. But how can yoga be applied in such a time-crunched and competitive setting? Through lecture, group discussion, experiential interaction, practice teaching, and self-inquiry, we deepen our understanding of our corporate clients' needs and discover how to inspire people to move from cubicle to yoga mat.

We learn how to:
  • Sequence classes for the corporate office, including desk stretches and meditation
  • Facilitate workshops using yoga to address stress management and work-life balance
  • Make prop-less modifications and "hands off" adjustments
  • Motivate students, address competitiveness, and incorporate spirituality into classes
  • Provide marketing support to encourage employee participation
  • Address liability, discrimination, sexual harassment, and EEOC concerns
This workshop is open to certified yoga teachers and professional facilitators of mind-body methodologies in corporate settings. Yoga Alliance will recognize 22.5 hours of study for this workshop.
