Underneath any physical or psychological condition, a part of you is fervently trying to make its voice heard. Through the integration of emotions, energetics, movement, and energy medicine, expert somatic therapist Judith Hendin teaches a direct map for unraveling messages that your inner selves express through physical symptoms.
A powerful adjunct to medical treatment, revealing the self behind the symptom provides a faster recovery from many ailments, including musculo-skeletal conditions, pain, rashes, intestinal problems, cancer, sexual dysfunction, and insomnia.
In this workshop geared for both personal and professional growth, we receive an introduction to this dramatic and transformational healing path. We learn to:
- Work with voice dialogue and the body to identify strong "shadow" voices-parts of the unconscious mind that consist of repressed powers, needs, and instincts
- Recognize the "gatekeepers"-those cultural and personal selves that protect us so well that they can also block our inner work
- Discover the inner child-which Hendin calls "the portal to the heart"-who lies beneath many physical problems
- Release unexpressed emotions
- Use the kinds of touch that foster healing
Judith Hendin, PhD, NMT, directs the Conscious Body & Voice Dialogue Institute in Easton, Pennsylvania and New York City. A somatic therapist in private practice for 20 years, she is an internationally renowned teacher. Shakti Gawain calls Hendin, "a wonderful healer whose work [she] highly recommends." consciousbody.com |
