The Pillars of Backbends

The arms and legs are powerful conduits to the spine when our alignment is good. In this class, we learn to use the arms and legs properly in backbends so that they create integration and strength, and discover how our arms and legs can transform into pillars of the spine as we practice a progression of backbends, culminating in upward facing bow (or wheel) pose.
