Wellness Week

A Program for Health & Healing

Registration for this workshop has ended. Go to the Search Workshops page to look for upcoming workshops.

Omega’s Wellness Week gives you the chance to do what you have been promising yourself for years: to take a break and dedicate time to your health, relaxation, and rejuvenation.

This week offers a great way to experience the richness of Omega living and develop a firm commitment to self-care and optimal health practices that you can bring back to your home and work environments.

Designed for those who want to make personal and professional changes, both beginners and those with considerable experience in wellness and holistic health practices are welcome.

During the week we learn:
  • Stress Reduction & Mindfulness Meditation
  • Nutrition for Health & Healing
  • Principles & Practices of Holistic Health & Longevity
  • Timeshifting
  • Yoga, Movement & Body Awareness
This workshop is also offered August 17-21.

Coordinated by Omega cofounder Stephan Rechtschaffen, MD, and Marc Cohen, MA, who are coauthors of Vitality and Wellness, the Omega Wellness Week allows you to enjoy the program at your own pace and level of expertise. Each day, you attend core workshops in the morning. Afternoon sessions offer specialized topics in smaller groups and more personalized interactions with the faculty. Rechtschaffen, author of Timeshifting, teaches holistic health, diet, longevity, and timeshifting; Cohen teaches stress reduction, psychological work, and meditation; Chris Ellis, MS, RD, teaches nutrition; and Annette Knopp teaches yoga and movement.
