Myth, Psychology & the Mystery of Transformation

This workshop has been cancelled.

Jean Houston is one of the foremost visionary thinkers and doers of our time. A preeminent scholar, philosopher, and researcher, she is regarded as one of the founders of the human potential movement that began more than four decades ago. Her ability to inspire people enables her to guide them to attain their highest achievements.

Now, drawing upon findings from her own life, from work in more than 100 countries and 40 cultures, and with leaders worldwide, Houston offers this workshop to evoke in us new ways of being. She does this by combining the dynamics of both old and emergent myths and stories of transformation.

Through talks, exercises, and question-and-answer sessions, Houston guides us in state-of-the-art methods to experience sensory, psychological, symbolic, and spiritual growth and discovery in ways that are both practical and profound. Liberating thoughtways, shifting perceptions and understandings, and growing in our own capacities enables us to take these discoveries back into our communities and organizations.

Jean Houston, PhD, has published 26 books. Her widely viewed PBS Special, A Passion for the Possible, calls on all people to consider their potential and greatness. Currently she is a senior advisor to the United Nations Development Programme to train leaders in developing countries in the areas of human development and social complexity. jeanhouston.org
