The Creative Power of Meditation

Each of us has a unique creative power. We know we're in creative flow when time seems timeless and effort is effortless. Somehow, creativity flows when we can both embrace and forget ourselves. How do we access this state in all areas of life?

Meditation teaches us how. Meditation is the practice of looking within while maintaining moment-to-moment awareness of the present moment. This skill is what writers, musicians, painters, and other artists count on to create fresh, living, powerful work.

Join author and Buddhist meditation practitioner Susan Piver for a unique exploration of creativity and meditation. Through sitting meditation, journaling, and small group dialogue, we learn how to bring our unique creativity to work, relationships, and artistic endeavor.

Susan Piver is the New York Times best-selling author of The Hard Questions series, including The Hard Questions for an Authentic Life.
