Join the I Love Yoga® team for a weekend of sharing and deepening your love of yoga, singing to the divine, communing with nature, connecting with yourself, and creating community with fellow yogis at all levels of experience.
We begin with heart-expanding Sanskrit chanting led by Loren Russo. During the weekend, she also leads us in a Jivamukti Yoga practice designed to challenge our physical and psychological body by focusing on nada yoga, the yoga of deep inner listening. We also “test the waters” of our boundaries with Duncan Wong, who leads us in a practice of Yogic Arts™, which combines martial arts with Thai yoga therapy.
Moses (Michael Kupferberg), founder of iloveyoga.com, helps us integrate our experience in a safe and nurturing vinyasa yoga practice that allows us to celebrate our emotions and creativity, have fun, and grow.
Together we learn to deepen and share how we live yoga and love yoga.
Faculty
Moses (Michael Kupferberg) is founder of iloveyoga.com and author of Live Hard Because You Can. He is a pioneer in partner flying yoga and holds a degree in Thai massage.
Loren Russo has been practicing Ashtanga Yoga for 14 years, including six years of study with Pattabhi Jois. She is a certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher and has toured with legendary yogi Bhagavan Das.
Duncan Wong has studied Ashtanga Yoga, Korean Buddhist martial arts, and Thai and Shiatsu bodywork with a number of masters, including Ashtanga master Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, Jivamukti cofounders Sharon Gannon and David Life, Ashtanga teacher Eddie Stern, and Korean sword master S.J. Su. His Yogic Arts DVDs are a synthesis of these studies and are based on the common ground between them all. He lives in Shanghai and Tokyo.
