The Sufi path of love takes the wayfarer into the very depths of the soul. In this retreat, we explore this journey of divine love, a love that belongs to the core of our being.
In our culture, we tend to limit love to the sphere of personal relationships. But real love is a primal power that can open our heart and awaken us to the secret hidden within ourself and within creation, the secret of the divine.
For the mystic, God is the silent emptiness and is therefore most easily reached in silence. Guided by the Sufi teacher Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee, we practice the silent meditation of the heart. There is also time for sohbet (spiritual conversation) with Vaughan-Lee.
Faculty assistant may teach or coteach certain sessions. This workshop begins Monday at 7:30 a.m.
