Many people want to create a personal spiritual practice they can integrate into their daily lives, but aren't sure how to go about it. In this workshop, Lench Archuleta and Peter Occhiogrosso offer a rich trove of spiritual, mental, and physical modalities, with an emphasis on Native American and Eastern traditions, upon which we can draw to create our own practice.
Archuleta draws on his Yaqui heritage to guide us through empowering principles of Native American wisdom, offering practical methods to assist us in unraveling the mystery of who we are. These include the daily integration of ceremony and ritual through setting intention, honoring our journey with smudging, and exploring the wisdom of the seven sacred directions. One of the many highlights of these teachings is a Saturday evening shamanic journey.
Peter Occhiogrosso, the author of several books on the world's spiritual traditions, teaches practices from Eastern wisdom traditions that connect body, mind, and spirit. We explore basic breathing techniques from Tibetan and Indian yoga that help generate energy and increase body awareness, learn qigong exercises, and practice sacred dream journaling and spiritual autobiography.
Special schedule.
Lench Archuleta is a Yaqui Indian and traditional native healer from Southern Arizona who has worked with individuals and small groups in the Sonoran Desert for more than 20 years, collaborating with health professionals and traditional native healers as a counselor, consultant, advisor, and spiritual guide. www.windspiritteaching.com
