For nearly 250 years, tarotists and kabbalists have been exploring the similarities between the cards and the kabbalistic tree of life. The connections are surprising and very strong.
In this workshop, we look at the kabbalistic tree of life and the tarot from both the Jewish and magical traditions. Rachel Pollack and Mary Greer focus on ways we can use these traditions to discover our own meanings and our own pathways. How do we understand our personal lives through the great tree of life? Just as a living tree continues to grow, so do we. And using the symbols of the tree and the cards, we can crown our own growth with wisdom and understanding.
Mary Greer and Rachel Pollack have each worked with the tarot for more than 30 years. Greer is the author of several books, including The Complete Book of Tarot Reversals and Tarot for Your Self: A Workbook for Personal Transformation. Pollack is the author of The Forest of Souls: A Walk Through the Tarot and Seventy-Eight Degrees of Wisdom, and the creator of the Shining Tribe Tarot. |
