Your consciousness is affecting your body every day. Author and researcher Dawson Church shows us how beliefs and emotions within our consciousness can trigger the expression of DNA strands, and guides us in applying the insights of the new field of epigenetics (epi = above, i.e. control above the level of the gene) for healing.
We focus on a class of genes called Immediate Early Genes, or IEGs. These genes turn on within a few seconds of a stimulus, can be triggered by thoughts or emotions, and often affect specific aspects of our immune system.
With the presentation of new scientific studies and methodologies that are proving the healing effects of belief, prayer, meditation, and spiritual practice; hands-on demonstrations; and a glimpse ahead to new trends in healing, we learn to take control of our consciousness and use it to influence IEGs, sometimes bypassing years of therapy, as well as harmful drugs and invasive surgeries.
This workshop is also an excellent opportunity for healing professionals to learn how the quality of emotions and thoughts, and even the nature of intentions, affects their patients’ well-being.
Participants will be able to:
- Describe how recent scientific studies reinforce the understanding of EP as an epigenetic intervention.
- Navigate the documentation and peer review of case histories quickly and easily.
- Contribute practitioner’s own case histories the new EP Clinical Case History Database
- Utilize the techniques of Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Attunement
