In the Buddhist tradition of overcoming resentment with forgiveness, hatred with love, fear with confidence, ignorance with understanding, and greed with generosity, this workshop focuses on cultivation of the heart’s natural qualities of forgiveness and compassion.

Noah Levine, Buddhist teacher and counselor, is our guide. Through talks and meditation, we discover how this spiritual practice is an engagement with life that goes against the norms of our society, and is therefore an act of rebellion. As we learn to develop a greater sense of care for ourselves and for our world through the revolutionary spiritual practices of the Buddha, we discover that they can not only profoundly change our own lives, but also the lives of those around us.

This retreat is suitable for both beginning and long-term practitioners. Youth, families, social workers, and activists are encouraged to attend.
