With the entire Music for People (MfP) faculty, we immerse ourself in the muse of music and learn to become our own troubadour and sing our own personal song.

Open to amateurs and professionals alike, this retreat allows us to explore our natural communication skills to become a better musician, poet, writer, speaker, or artist. We lose our inhibitions, break down barriers, and go deeper into musical pathways and our life’s journey.

A variety of sessions are offered that invite us to reach deep inside to discover our own expression and reach out to those around us to create in a collaborative community. We explore improvisation and musicianship skills, solo and group singing, drumming, performance skills, solutions for stage fright, leadership skills, skills for educators and therapists, small-group jamming, recording, biofeedback, and silence as a presence and contribution. We also use our music-making time together to observe and give positive feedback to each other.
