Embrace the Gift of Life Through the Wisdom of Purna Yoga™
The essence of Purna Yoga™ is to live in a constant state of gratitude for the gift of life, and to listen to our heart’s guidance about how to live. Purna Yoga encompasses alignment based asana, transformative meditation, applied yoga philosophy, and ancient and modern nutrition.
In this 7-day retreat, master teachers Aadil Palkhivala and Mirra guide us in a practice of Purna Yoga to enhance our intuition and reduce anxiety so we can move toward the life we are meant to live. Aadil teaches asana sequences, pranayama, mantra, kriyas, nutrition, and philosophy to help cultivate inner awareness.
Mirra teaches easy, yet powerful meditation techniques you can take into your day-to-day life. She explains the energetics of meditation and shows us how to open the heart chakra. She also prays for and does healing work on participants several weeks prior to the workshop and after the retreat.
Six months asana experience required. No previous meditation experience necessary. Wear comfortable clothing. Recommended reading: Palkhivala, Fire of Love. Aadil Palkhivala is also part of Being Yoga; August 20-22, 2010.
