Have you ever found yourself asking, “Isn’t there something more meaningful than this way-too-busy life I am living?”

Sarah Susanka, author of The Not So Big Life, helps us take our finger off the fast-forward button and right-size our life. She describes a process for integrating outer and inner worlds, helping us to see that every experience, good or bad, is food for the journey to realization of our true potential. We learn that we do not need to lead a monastic life or give up the things we love. In fact, the real joy of a “not so big life” is realizing that it already exists in the life we are leading. All that is required is our full engagement.

Through collective inquiry we learn that:
  • Everything is a reflection
  • We are not our thoughts, feelings, or experiences
  • There is nothing wrong
  • Life is the experiencing of the experience
We discover that if we look with the eyes of a student, everything can teach us, pointing the way to a life that is more meaningful and satisfying than our wildest dreams.

Required reading: Susanka, The Not So Big Life. Bring a notebook.

A renowned speaker, architect, and cultural visionary, Sarah Susanka is the best-selling author of seven books, including The Not So Big House and The Not So Big Life. notsobiglife.com
