This workshop explores the nature of sacredness with the intention of creating sacred space at home, at work, or in outdoor sanctuaries.

Sacredness exists in pure form in nature. People, however, access the sacred through consciousness, ritual, and design. The creation of sacred space considers how to bring together these disparate forces: the natural and the man-made.

Architect and feng shui master Alex Stark guides us as we explore the sacredness of space through visual observation, body sensing, dowsing, meditation, and ritual. We study the principles of sacred design in feng shui, Western geomancy, and sacred geometry, learning to apply the tenets of sacred architecture in the design and construction of our own personal sacred spaces.

In addition, the Omega campus offers us an opportunity to explore landform, earth energies, and power spots. We also receive training in earth healing and space clearing for future consecration of land, gardens, and ceremonial structures.

Alex Stark, a graduate of the Yale University School of Architecture, has been a consultant with the United

Nations Development Programme, as well as with corporations, educational institutions, and health-care organizations. His work has been featured in the New York Times, Town & Country, and the Wall Street Journal, and on CNN and PBS. alexstark.com
