Belly Dance Goddess Weekend

Registration for this workshop has ended. Go to the Search Workshops page to look for upcoming workshops.

This weekend, learn to become a belly dance goddess and unlock the secrets of the world’s oldest dance form. No matter what your size, shape, color, or background is, you can learn to feel sexy and powerful through the art of belly dance.

Guided by belly dance experts Titanya Dahlin and Dondi Dahlin, we explore the magic of our body and wisdom of our mind through this ancient and sensual dance. Together, we practice dance combinations, drills, improvisation, and meditation. We play with exotic makeup and hairstyles, dance with veils, and support each other as goddesses. We also learn about Middle Eastern music and culture, the five elements, and the historical roles of women in belly dance.

No dance experience is necessary to enjoy this inspiring, spiritual, restorative, and fun dance form. Come celebrate your inner belly dance goddess!

Dress comfortably and bring a full skirt, veil, and finger cymbals if you have them.

Titanya Dahlin teaches belly dance worldwide and produces full theatre and music productions across the nation. She has created her own self-healing and fitness DVDs called, Energy Dance, based on a combination of dance forms and energy medicine. Titanya is a Polynesian dancer, storyteller, and stage actress.
