Reflexology is the practice of using pressure points on the feet to heal and revitalize the entire body. For those who want to learn better self-care or ways of caring for family and friends, and for those who want to begin a bodywork career, or enhance an existing one, this training offers you the most fun you may have experienced while learning new skills. Documented benefits of reflexology include: balance and normalization of the body systems, stress reduction, and improved circulation and immune system functioning.

Through lecture, discussion, and hands-on work, including partner exchange, you learn the history, theory, and principles of reflexology; relevant anatomy and physiology; the map of reflex points on the feet; business practices and ethics; and, most importantly, how to give a relaxing one-hour reflexology session.

Part 2 of this training focuses on technique refinement; new techniques, including hand and ear reflexology; and energy concepts related to reflexology.

Part 1 offered June 1-8 (or an equivalent 50+ hour training) is a prerequisite for this training.

The training will award a 54-hour certificate that can be used toward national certification by the American Reflexology Certification Board. Reflexology Certification Training Part 2 completes the hours needed to qualify for the national certification exam.

Bob Wolfe, a board-certified reflexologist, licensed massage therapist, and recently, massage therapy program coordinator at CLN in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, has been teaching body-mind therapies for more than a decade.
