The key to awakening our ability to heal both ourselves and others—a largely undeveloped and underutilized talent—lies in recognizing that the energy of healing flows through us all the time in the form of what we commonly know as our emotions.

These powerful, cosmic forces guide our lives and give us the energy to live. When emotions are suppressed or blocked, illness and injury occur. When they are released, the body uses their energy to rebalance its chemistry; mend cells, tissues, and organs; and generate that sense of well-being that we call “health.”

This week, we develop the ability to recognize emotional blocks in ourselves and others, and see how these blocks express themselves in disease, discomfort, and unhealthy patterns of thought and action. We learn how to align ourselves with our own emotional energy, and use it to create healing and transformation through touch, breathing, movement, and voice.

Upon completion participants will be able to:

* evaluate the emotional health of a patient's tissues and organs
* define and identify states of emotional shock held in the body
* remove emotional energy blocks that inhibit healing
* distinguish between pure emotions and emotional defenses
* identify and palpate key acupressure points that release emotional energetic flows
* mobilize their singing voices to access emotional energies underlying trauma Julie Motz, author of Hands of Life, is an internationally known energy healer who pioneered the practice of energy healing in the operating room with patients undergoing surgery. Working side-by-side with surgeons in hospitals nationwide, she discovered the profound emotional journeys that underlie the path of disease. spiritsite.com
