Amy Kandall is a ceramic artist and painter. Her work has been exhibited in partnership with the Fine Arts Work Center, Provincetown Art Association and Museum, Cape Cod Museum of Art, the Schoolhouse Gallery, Cherry Stone Gallery, and Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill. Amy earned a bachelor’s of fine arts from the State University of New York at Purchase and a master’s of fine arts from the Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts at Bard College. She is working on building a ceramic studio in Truro, Massachusetts.

Amy Kandall has also had a long teaching career in the public school system teaching high school Art. Originally from New York City her first jobs were in magnet schools in New York City and in the Bronx. When summering in Cape Cod, a job opened up at  Provincetown High School to teach all subjects through Art. Eventually, this led to a teaching job in Ceramics and Painting at Dennis Yarmouth High School and then at Nauset Regional High School. She is trained as an International Baccalaureate Art instructor where the daily journal is a central practice. This will be her 30th year teaching Art to teens as a form of self reflection and mindfulness.
