Lee Harrington is a long-term Buddhist practitioner and Sowa Rigpa therapist who has served on the faculty at Tibet House, Menla, and the Omega Institute. She teaches meditation, mantra healing, and nejang (a Tibetan self-healing practice).  She is also an award-winning vocalist, specializing in healing mantras from the Tibetan Buddhist and Sowa Rigpa traditions.

For the past two decades, Lee has been leading kirtans and manta workshops at such venues as Kripalu, Sivananda Bahamas, and Yogaville, as well as at dharma centers, churches, and spiritual retreat centers.

Lee is author of Rex and the City and is she currently working on a memoir that chronicles her journey of self-healing. She has taught creative writing at Columbia University and New York University and often incorporates meditative practices into her teaching and creative pursuits. She is currently managing editor at Karma Triyana Dharmachakra (KTD) Publications, a boutique dharma publishing house under the auspices of the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa.
