Marady Duran

Marady Duran is an end-of-life doula and an educator with the International End-of-Life Doula Association (INELDA). She began implementing her doula skills at St. Alphonsus Hospice as a volunteer in their No One Dies Alone program, and also incorporated the doula approach into her social work career. She has more than 15 years of experience in adult learning and development, fundraising, education management, and social work, and has facilitated veterans’ employment and disability programs on a national level. 

Marady joined INELDA’s LGBTQIA2S+ advisory council, and served on the diversity board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) as a representative for disability awareness and Latinx outreach issues. She has a master’s degree in training and organizational development and a master’s in social work from Boise State University. She is also a certified yoga nidra and meditation instructor.
