This workshop has been cancelled.

Celebrate Father’s Day weekend in this workshop for fathers and sons and explore what it means to be a man in the new millennium.

Tony Porter, cofounder of A Call To Men: The Next Generation of Manhood, partners with A Call to Men core trainer Albery Abreu for open dialogues, reflection, and strategy sessions on the many aspects of manhood.

Fathers work with Porter and discuss the plight of boys and men in today’s society, as well as the experiences of raising our sons. We also reflect on our own childhood and experiences as boys, young men, and sons.

The young men work with Abreu to discuss the joys and challenges of making the transition from boyhood to manhood. Topics of discussion include interpersonal skills, relationships, peer pressure, bullying, and bystander behavior.

The group works together to learn from each other’s experiences and discover how to create a world where men and boys are loving and respectful.

Fathers and sons aged 12+ are invited.
