Description

Developing an authentic voice is vital to building healthy relationships and reaching one’s fullest potential. Now more than ever, there is an opportunity for young women’s voices to be heard in the global dialogue to promote a climate of peace, justice, and sustainability. These voices need to be encouraged, not stifled by the pressure to be a “good girl”—unerringly perfect, modest, and selfless.

In this workshop for young women, we hone our emotional intelligence by exploring self-awareness, practicing communication skills, and setting future goals. In a fun and supportive way, we engage in activities ranging from journaling and meditation to creative games, role-play, and discussion.

Together, we come away with the tools to express our thoughts and feelings, listen deeply to ourselves and others, and say what we mean and be who we are.

An Omega Women’s Leadership Center Program. Scholarships are available.

Open to young women ages 18 to 29.
