Asana, Anatomy & Awe

An Inspired View of Yoga & the Body

This workshop has been cancelled.

June 12, 2015 – June 14, 2015
Rhinebeck, NY
Grace Jull

We are no longer taking online registrations for this workshop.

Join anatomy specialist Grace Jull for an illuminating journey of the inner terrain through asana, anatomy, and awe. Jull draws on her extensive background training yoga teachers and massage therapists, and her own studies in osteopathy and embryology, to deliver a truly unique and inspired view of the body and yoga as a passionate encounter with prana.

Through lecture, hands-on exercises, and practice, we explore:

  • The key bones and muscles that influence our ease and expression, on and off the mat
  • How the joints of the hip, spine, and shoulders can find optimal positioning in asanas
  • How muscles work and how they can hold memory and find freedom
  • How fascia influences our personal expressions of asana
  • How chakras and regional anatomy can illuminate body, mind, and spirit

Yoga students and teachers alike can benefit from this exploration, and return home with greater compassion, capacity, and curiosity in discovering the body’s full potential.
