Description

Authors Fred Poole and Marta Szabo create a studio where writers can bring their most important stories to life, even those that seem too complex to tackle.

Here, each person’s story is sacred and writing is considered an art form. Like music, dance, or painting, writing as art—grounded in the reality of each person’s experience—becomes an exploration that is deeply personal, excitingly unpredictable, life-giving, and potentially life-changing.

Whether you already write or have always longed to begin, you will do a great deal of writing in this workshop. Periods of writing alternate with periods of reading aloud and a specific form of response that consistently supports each writer in going further and writing more.

The Authentic Writing Studio is every writer’s ally. Its time-proven method reignites your desire to put words on paper and produce the writing only you can create.

By week’s end you have a collection that stands alone as a valuable body of work, which can become the makings of a book, film script, or theater production. Most importantly you have an invigorated sense of your direction and purpose as a writer and artist.
