Description

“Flowers are the manifestation of love itself,” says Anthony Ward, who has graced the Omega campus, indoors and outside, with his floral designs for more than a decade.

In Being With Flowers, a popular weekend workshop for anyone who loves flowers, Ward shares his celebrated natural process. We take walks to collect grasses, vines, branches, wildflowers, and leaves on the beautiful Omega grounds, other gorgeous flowers are brought in, and we create our own inspired floral arrangements and “faces of the divine.”

Through walking meditations, periods of silence and reflection, and pure fun, we learn techniques of flower arranging and creating divinely inspired floral expressions. We awaken to the essential nature of flowers, explore parallels in our own lives, and enjoy being with flowers.
