Coaches Ellen Riley and Kevin Heath are back, leading a basketball camp for boys and girls of all skill levels. The coaches are veterans of NBA coach Phil Jackson’s and CBA coach Charley Rosen’s Beyond Basketball camp at Omega. In an atmosphere of healthy competition, cooperative team play, fun, and love of the game, campers work on developing fundamental skills: ball handling, dribbling, passing, rebounding, offensive plays, spacing on the court, defense, and—everyone’s favorite—shooting! There are tournaments and prizes for all at the end of the week.
$10 materials fee; include when you register.

Ellen Riley, a consultant in the biotechnology industry, teaches Beyond Basketball for Kids during Omega Family Week. She is a veteran of the Omega basketball camp, Beyond Basketball, taught by NBA coach Phil Jackson and CBA coach Charley Rosen.
Kevin Heath worked for the New York City Mayor’s office for more than 20 years and is currently teaching in Chicago. He has played pick-up games in Spain, England, and Finland, and finished the New York City Marathon in less than four hours.
