Description

Do you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or discouraged by things you wish you could change about yourself, your habits, or your life? Do you feel trapped by self-criticism, self-doubt, or confusion? Choosing to change requires a clear vision of what you want, the inner strength to overcome old patterns, and the confidence to take positive action.

Join Kelly McGonigal to discover a new approach to the process of change based on mindfulness, self-compassion, positive psychology, and the new science of self-transformation. Whether your goal is to improve health, jump-start motivation, navigate a life transition, or make any other change, this workshop can help you get clear about what you want to create in your life. Through lecture, group discussion, self-reflection, meditation, yoga, and “real-world” experiments in choosing to change, you begin to cultivate the skills needed to realize your vision.

This workshop is designed for counselors, helping professionals, and those interested in using the information for their own growth.

Yoga practice will be accessible and adapted to the needs of each individual and the group.
